Please listen to the experiences of the atomic bomb survivors, and their appeals for peace.
Not only Japanese nationals, but also many foreigners were exposed to the atomic bomb. Those who narrowly survived the bombing sustained deep physical and mental wounds from which they still suffer. However, they have overcome these hardships and continue to talk of their experiences so that they can appeal for the abolition of nuclear weapons and convey the importance of peace.
You can listen to testimonies and view pictures drawn by the survivors on the touch screen. The entirety of the 11m long “Storm of Kiyo”, which is a picture scroll of the Nagasaki atomic bombing painted by Mr. Noritaka Fukami, can also be viewed on the touch screen.
