This is Mr. Katsuji Yoshida.
Mr. Yoshida was 13 years old and in the second year of Nagasaki Prefectural Technical School when he was bombed in Erimachi, 850 meters away from the hypocenter. He was carried to Omura Navy Hospital in November to have treatment. What waited for Mr. Yoshida, who had endured painful treatment, was that keloid spread all over his face, and sadly enough, he was discriminated against because of that. Mr. Yoshida's message is that "the basis of peace is to understand the pain of others." The testimony of Mr. Yoshida can be heard in the video corner of "Appeals of the Atomic Bomb Survivors".
